JACKSON - Fredric Edward Bell, 83, retired salesman for Federal Chemical Co., died of pneumonia Tuesday at Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare in Jackson. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Beech Bluff United Methodist Church, where he was a member, with burial in Beech Bluff Cemetery. Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home has charge. He was treasurer, lay leader and member of the administrative board of his church, a member of Beech Bluff Puritan Club and a World War II Army veteran. Mr. Bell, the husband of Hazel Marie Brady Bell, also leaves five sons, Donald Edward Bell, Rodney Fredric Bell, Stephen Brady Bell, Robert Gary Bell and Philip Ernest Bell, and a sister, Kitty Blankenship, all of Jackson, 10 grandchildren and three step grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Beech Bluff United Methodist Church or Reelfoot Rural Ministries.
