Myrtle Lessie Nichols Bishop, age 94, a former resident of Shakesville Road, Bristol, VA passed away on December 8, 2004 at Beaufont Nursing Home in Richmond, VA. She was a daughter to the late James and Rosie Langston Nichols and was a member of Shakesville Tabernacle.
Survivors include: Sons – Manuel Bishop and wife Lona, Johnny Junior Bishop and wife Louise, Jody Bishop and wife Stella, and Jerry Ray Bishop and wife Catherine
Daughters – Helen Hatchel, Thelma Davenport, Lennie Epperson and husband Paul, Jettie Mae Robinson, Alice Viers and husband Don
Brother – Ben Nichols
Sisters – Blanche Ivy, Eva Trinkle, Nettie Henley, Louise Knight

Preceded in death by her husband John H. Bishop, and sons Earl Bishop, Bobby Bishop, and Lonnie Bishop
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2004 at 11 am at the Glenwood Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Epperson and Rev. Tommy Tester officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8 pm at Weaver Funeral Home.
