April 11, 1930 - April 23, 2001
Jean Louise Barr Townsend, 71, of 3566 Rockhold Road, died Monday, April 23, 2001, at her residence. She was the daughter of the late David and Molly Barr.
She was a homemaker, a former employee of Dairy Queen and a member of the Addilynn Memorial United Methodist Church.
Survivors include husband, Rusty Townsend; two sisters, Anna Pearl Robbins, Bristol, Tenn., and Frankie Thomas Godbey, Statesville, NC; several nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Martha Barr, Bluff City.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, April 27, 2001, in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steven Brown officiating.
Entombment will follow in the Glenwood Mausoleum. Pallbearers will be friends.
