BRISTOL, Tenn. Minnie "Lee" Hale, 84, passed away on July 11, 2011, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. She
was born in Dry Branch, W.Va., a daughter of the late John Kester Sarver and Ella Hines Canterbury Sarver. In addition to her
parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Edward Hale; sister, Norma Jean Stone; and brothers, James W.
Sarver and Roy Hines Sarver. She was a resident of North Tazewell, Va., before moving to Bristol in 1959. She was the owner of
J & L Moving and Storage, an agency of Allied Van Lines. She was a member of Virginia Avenue Baptist Church and also
attended Addilynn United Methodist Church for many years. Survivors include her sister, Madge S. Wells; two brothers, Ray K.
Sarver and George W. Sarver; nephew, Craig Sarver; and nieces Kara Sarver and Donna Druery. A funeral service will be held at
Glenwood Cemetery, 1 p.m., Thursday, July 14, 2001, in the Heritage Chapel of Memories, with the Rev. Jerry Hall officiating.
Entombment will follow. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may send memorial contributions to Virginia Avenue Baptist Church,
1404 Virginia Ave., Bristol, TN 37620. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family and viewed by visiting
