Mary Jane Widner Crusenberry Vanover, 71 passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at NHC Johnson City. She was born in Bristol, TN on October 9, 1942, a daughter of the late Samuel and Pearl Reed Widner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Nelson Vanover; step son, Gary Vanover; sisters, Laura Hartsock, Memphis Goodman and Thelma Widner; and brothers, June Widner and James Widner..

She was a life long resident of Knoxville, TN and Bristol, TN/VA and was a resident of NHC Johnson City for several years.

Mary is survived by her children, David, Bobby, and Carol Ann Crusenberry; step children, Vicki Gwaltney, Sharon Wuerth, Nila Ensor, and Lisa Tebbins; sisters, Irene Pounds, Mary Dale White, Gladys Canter, Goldie Offield, and twin, Martha Lindsey; brothers, Jess and Thomas Widner; sisters-in-law, Martha Francis and husband Howard and Ruby Haworth; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces; nephews; special niece, Peggy Sharrett; and granddog, Little Bit.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Blevins Funeral & Cremation Services, Bristol, VA. A service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, April 2, 2014 at Glenwood Cemetery Mausoleum, Bristol, TN.
