Hazel McReynolds Wampler, age 84, of Bristol, TN went to be with the Lord on March 16, 2009 at NHC in Bristol, VA. She was born in Herndon, WV a daughter to the late Marvin and Zella Mae Broyles McReynolds and had spent most of her life in the Bristol area. Hazel was a homemaker and a member of Tennessee Avenue Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was the widow of Henry D. "H.D." Wampler.Survivors include: Daughter – Phyllis Humphrey and husband BobSon – Harry WamplerGrandchildren - Kristin Humphrey, Angela WamplerBrother – Louis McReynolds and wife JoAnnSeveral Nieces and Nephews and her church family.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 7 pm at Tennessee Avenue Baptist Church with Brother Joe Hudson officiating. Committal service will be on Thursday at 11am at Glenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5-6:45 pm at the church prior to the service.
