PINEY FLATS — Virginia Clark Webb, 85, of Piney Flats, died on Monday, October 25, 2010, at the Bristol Regional Medical Center.
She was the daughter of the late John Griffith Clark and Rutha Fleenor Clark. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester B. Webb Jr.; son, John Patrick Webb Sr.; grandson, John P. Webb Jr.
She was retired from Proffit's and worked for Parks Belk in Johnson City for 19 years. Prior to that she served as City Recorder for Bluff City, Tennessee. She was a member of Bluff City United Methodist Church and attended Enterprise United Methodist Church.
Survivors include daughter, Leslie Wisecarver and husband, Richard, of Knoxville, Tennessee; sons, Gregg Webb and wife, Teresa, of Bluff City, Tennessee, Mike Webb and wife, Mary, of Johnson City, Tennessee; grandchildren, Brad Webb, Justin Webb and wife, Tausha, Julie Ashbrook and husband, Carlton, LeAnne Rogers and husband, Jeremiah, Jennifer Murphy and husband, Kyle, Alice Sessoms and husband, Landon; and great grandchildren, Olivia and Carter Ashbrook.
The family will receive friends at Thursday, October 28, 2010, from 5:00 until 6:45 PM at Oakley-Cook Funeral Home in Bristol, Tennessee.
The service will follow at 7:00 PM, with Rev. Dan Theiban officiating.
The committal service and interment will be held at Glenwood Cemetery, Friday October 29, 2010, at 11:00 AM.
