April 17, 1945 - January 22, 2004
Maxine (Mickey) Richardson Monk, age 58 of Kingsport has gone to heaven to be with the Lord and her mom, dad and Joe Boy on Thursday, January 22, 2004 at 11:36 p. m., at the Holston Valley Medical Center.Mickey was born April 17, 1945 in Sullivan County and was the yougest daughter of sixteen children born to the late Fred Nelson and Grace Elizabeth (Short) Richardson. Mickey worked many years for JP Stevens. Mickey was a loving mother, grandmother,sister and aunt. She was a caregiver to everyone needing help. She was kind, loving and had a heart as large as the world. Mickey loved traveling and having fun with her family. Laughter was part of her and she enjoyed sharing life with others. Mickey will be sadly missed by her family and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters; Dorothy, Lucille and Edith. Four brothers; Robert, Russell, Junior and Joe boy.she will be missed by her family eternally.
