Eudora Anderson, age 92, of Kingsport, entered into rest on Friday, June 14, 2013 at the Village at Allendale. Mrs. Anderson was a Mason City, Iowa native and the daughter of the late William and Elma Arnold. She moved to the Kingsport area in 1943 with her husband. Mrs. Anderson was a homemaker.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vernal "Andy" E. Anderson in 1993.
Survivors include her daughters: Sandra Anderson Stiehl and husband Robert, and Cinda Rae Anderson; sons: Erik Anderson and wife CynThia, and Mark Anderson and his partner, Walter Aebischer; sisters: Constance Lindmark, Marilyn Lawson-Weipert; grandchildren: Scott Stiehl, Samantha Byers and husband Greg, Robert J. Stiehl and wife Meredith, Tiffany Sapp and husband Jayon and Erin Sherrange; great grandchildren: Kenan Stiehl, Barrett Stiehl, Lilah Rose Sherrange, Daniel Parker Sherrange and Bridget Irene Sapp, along with a special sister-in-law, Vonis Parrish.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June, 17, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of East Lawn Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 6:00 p.m. with the Pastor Dan Clark, officiating.
Private Entombment Services will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2013.
The family would like to send a special thank you to the wonderful caring staff at Yesterday's Place at the Village at Allendale.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any of the following: The Exchange Place, The Waverly Road Presbyterian Church Food Pantry, The Kingsport Symphony, The Carousel Project, The Kingsport Art Guild or to a charity of your choice.
And a special message from Mrs. Anderson: "Happy Trails to You…"
