Obituary for Dawn Walker
Dawn Marie Walker, age 49, of Abingdon passed away Saturday, October 1, 2011 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was born in Norristown, PA to the late George and Margaret Ann Nolan Gregory. She was of the Catholic faith. Survivors include her husband, Mike Walker of Abingdon; one son Justin Austin and wife Lillie of Damascus; one daughter, Jessica Harrison and husband Ian of Virginia Beach; three grandchildren, Donivan Austin, Klahrissa Austin and Chole Harrison; two brothers, Tom Gregory of Abingdon and R. J. Yates of Gray and one sister Amy Gregory of Plymouth Meeting, PA. The Graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 A. M. Friday, October 7, 2011 at Sunrise Cemetery with Rev. Margie Asher officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M., Thursday, October, 6, 2011 at Tetrick Funeral Home – Bluff City Chapel and any time at the residence of Laura Higgins, 304 Lakeview Circle, Bluff City. Minister, family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:55 A.M., Friday. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.tetrickfuneralhome.com and signing the guestbook. Tetrick Funeral Home – Bluff City Chapel is serving the Walker family. 423-538-7131
