Clayton Eugene Turner, 64, of Bristol, Tenn., died April 14, 2001, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was the son of Zedie and Rosie Worley Turner and had spent most of his life in the Bristol area. He was a member of True Faith Chapel in Elizabethton.
Survivors include: wife, Beulah F. Turner; daughter, Brenda Garritson of Bristol, Tenn.; son, Clayton E. Turner II of Bristol, Tenn.; sisters, Martha Fleenor of Bristol, Tenn., Norma Smith of Princeton, W.Va., Edith Snodgrass of Charlotte, NC, Audrey Barker of Anderson, Ind., and Clemmons Miller of Richmond, Ind.; brother, Charles Turner of Richmond, Ind.; three grandsons; one granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 3 p.m. in Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jess Neal officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family will receive friends Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Weaver Funeral Home. Weaver Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
