Obituary for Linda Stewart
Linda G. Jackson Stewart of Bluff City went to be with the Lord on June 15, 2011. She was born April 11, 19 61 to the late Acie Pierce Jackson and Mildred Pauline Perrigan Jackson and lived most of her life in Sullivan and Washington County. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Wayne Jackson. Survivors include her husband, William Stewart of the home; two step-children, William Stewart, Jr. and Rachel Stewart of Jonesborough; four sisters, Betty J. Jackson and Alice J. Wise and husband Jack both of Bluff City, Helen L. Jackson of Johnson City, Mildred D. Jackson of Bristol, TN; six brothers, Harold E. Jackson and wife Sarah, Robert L. Jackson and wife Wilma and Joseph S. Jackson and wife Holly, all of Bluff City, Jim Jackson and wife Evelyn of Rockwood, TN, Freddy D. Jackson and wife Ann of Blountville and Randy Jackson and partner Shelia of Jonesborough; three special nephews, Acie McCoy, Sam McCoy and Landon Jackson; one grand niece, Lilly Wise and one aunt, Matilda Smith of Kingsport. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, June 19, 2011 at Tetrick Funeral Home- Bluff City Chapel with pastors Lester Morelock and Jody Jenkins officiating. Interment to follow in Sunrise Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 2:00 P.M., Sunday prior to the service in the chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home or anytime at the home of her sister, Betty Jackson. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cancer Center of your choice. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.tetrickfuneralhome.com and signing the guestbook.
