Herman Aaron Malone, 59, 119 Hillcrest Road, Bluff City, died Thursday, January 18, 2001, at Johnson City Medical Center.
Mr. Malone was the son of the late Fred and Cornelia Carr Malone. He was the former owner and operator of Tri-City Printing and a charter member of Hillcrest Independent Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Mary Hughes High School where he was active in athletics.
Survivors include his wife, Kathie Plank Malone; a son, Todd Malone, Bluff City; a sister, Hallie McInturff, Elizabethton; and three brothers, Harold Malone, Elizabethton, T.F. Malone, Limestone, and Eugene Malone, Elizabethton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Weaver Funeral Home, 630 Locust Street, Bristol, (423) 968-2111, is in charge of arrangements.
MALONE -- Funeral services for Herman Aaron Malone, 59, 119 Hillcrest Road, Bluff City, who died Thursday, January 18, 2001, will be conducted at 6 p.m. Friday, January 19, from the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Crusenberry and the Rev. Steven Scalf officiating. Committal services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 20, at Sunrise Cemetery. Pallbearers include Todd Malone, Tex Scalf, Harvey Crusenberry, Frank Hunt, John McKamey, Chad Miller and Parthena Miller. Honorary pallbearers include Stephen Hunt, Derrick Plank and Ralph Hicks. The family will receive friends on Friday following the service until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Weaver Funeral Home, 630 Locust Street, Bristol, (423) 968-2111, is in charge of arrangements.
