Funeral services for Pamela Kay Doss Malone will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. in Weaver Funeral Home Chapel. The Revs. Dick Campbell and Campbell Kiser will officiate. Burial will be in Sunrise Cemetery.

Mrs. Malone, 44, of 420 Elizabethton Highway, died Saturday, Sept. 2, 2000. A lifelong resident of the Bluff City area, she was a daughter of Katie Doss and the late Everette Matthew Doss Sr. She was a housewife and a member of Campbell's Chapel Baptist Church.

Surviving, besides her mother, are her husband, James "Junior" Malone; two daughters, Sherry Malone and Angie Malone, both of Bluff City; two sons, Wayne Malone and Jimmy Malone, both of Bluff City; three brothers, Butch Doss, Pole Doss and Clarence Doss, all of Bluff City; two sisters, Millie Hawkins and Mary Ellen Jones, both of Bluff City; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Mrs. Malone was also preceded in death by a brother, Everett Matthew Doss Jr.

Pallbearers will be Tad Pole Doss, Jack Meeks, Casper Hawkins, Jimmy Salyer, Alan Perry, Bo Malone, Jerry Malone and James Doss. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Jackson and Jim Hopkins. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Weaver Funeral Home. BRISTOL HERALD COURIER SEPT 6, 2000
