Helen H. Holt, age 80, 406 Silver Grove Road, Bluff City passed away, Saturday, July 18, 2009 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was a daughter of the late Louis George and Sarah Ellen Rhymer Turner. Mrs. Holt attended the Freewill Baptist Church in Piney Flats. She was the rock of the family and was loved by everyone. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd L. Holt, a son, David Allen Holt, two brothers and three grandchildren. Survivors include three daughters, Phyllis Beecham, Bluff City, Wanda Messer and John Gifford, West Palm Beach, FL, Teresa Wilson and husband, Terry, Mt. Juliet, TN.; three sons, Lloyd Holt, Jr. and wife Brenda, Scottsdale, KY, Jerry Holt, Milton, FL and Kenneth Holt and wife Paula, Kingsport, TN; two sisters, one half-brother and one half-sister; seventeen grandchildren and twenty-seven great grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews also survive. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at Tetrick Funeral Home – Bluff City Chapel. Interment will follow in Sunrise Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Jerry Holt, Jr., Eric Holt, Robbie Holt, David Holt, Scotty Wilson and Charles Hinkle. Honorary pallbearers will be Donny Vestal, Randy Holt and Tim Holt. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M., Monday, July 20, 2009 at Tetrick Funeral Home – Bluff City Chapel and other times at the residence.
