Obituary for Anna Vance
Anna Sue Taylor Vance, 63 of 1611 Chinquapin Grove Road, Bluff City, TN departed this life on Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at Wellmont Bristol Regional Medical Center.
She was born April 16, 1943 in Sullivan County, TN to the late Millard and Beulah McCrary Taylor. In addition to her parents she was preceded In death by two sisters, Betty Hyatt and Wanda Maines; two brothers-in law, Charles Lyons and Earl Lyons. She was a life long resident of Sullivan County and employed by Wal-Mart store 690, Elizabethton. Sue was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to all.
Survivors include her devoted and loving husband of forty-five years, Joe Vance of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Tracy and Eddie Edwards and one grandson
Devan Edwards, all of Johnson City; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Naomi Lyons of Kingsport, Dorothy Lyons of Oxford, Georgia, and Louise and Robert Watson, of Bluff City; two brothers, Bob Taylor and Alf Taylor and wife Lana, all of Bluff City. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and special friends, Mary Cordell, Billie Beaver, Rebekah Taylor and Bernice Campbell along with her Wal-Mart friends and family.
The funeral service for Mrs. Vance will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 17, 2007 at Tetrick Funeral Home - Bluff City Chapel with Rev. Jerry Lowrie and Mr. Roger Carter officiating with burial to follow in the Sunrise Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Jim Richards, Fred Lowrie, Mac Lyons, Gary Kaylor, Verl Kaylor and Joe Lyons.
Honorary pallbearers will be Vance Johnson, Nephews and Wade Lockner.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 9:00 P.M. Friday, February 16, 2007 at the Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home, Bluff City.
