Lillie McCoy, age 94, of Bluff City, TN went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 8, 2012 at Appalachian Christian Village. She was born November 7, 1917 in Emelton, PA to the late John DeSimon and Jenny Nicole DeSimon. She had lived in the Bristol area since 1973 and was retired from Bristol Memorial Hospital after working as a nurse in various states. Mrs. McCoy was a member of Gateway Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond DeSimon and sisters Jenny Lewis and Marietta Mays.

Sons: Monte McCoy and wife Debra, Mark McCoy
Grandchildren: Chris McCoy and wife Kim, Jason McCoy and wife Tara, Stephanie Tester, Brian Burke, Scotty Burke
Great-Grandchildren: Jacob McCoy, Dustin McCoy, Megan McCoy, Hannah McCoy, Haley Tester, Grady Burke
Sister: Gladys Almgren

Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 PM on Monday, June 11, 2012 from the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dave Shinault and Rev. Jamie Ferguson officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-7:45 prior to the service. The committal service and burial will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday at Sunrise Cemetery.
