Mary was born in St. Louis, Mo., on Nov. 22, 1946, to Eugene Fusz and Florence Warfield Curry Thatcher. On June 12, 1971, married Edward Allen Seay of Lexington, Ky. Other siblings: Charlotte (Lolly), Margaret (Wee Pie), Becky, and Charlie.
