Earl Dewayne "Wayne" Brown, 53, of Soddy-Daisy, died on Monday, Jan. 17, 2005, at a local hospital.

He was a member of Grace Calvary Chapel and was employed by Sears for 18 years.

He is survived by his wife, Tami Brown; daughters, Megan Brown, of Soddy-Daisy, and Wendy Brown Crumley, of Sale Creek; brothers, Danny and Ricky Brown, both of Hixson; sister, Wanda Jean Brown, of Soddy-Daisy; grandchildren, Hunter and Colton Crumley, and a nephew, Austin Brown.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Grace Calvary Chapel with Pastor Tim Millsaps officiating.

Interment will follow in Dividing Ridge Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4-9 p.m. Wednesday and from 4-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Ross Schweinforth, Jacob Schweinforth, Nolan Branum, Jim Ross, Wayne Morgan, David Wannamaker and John Sparks.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Grace Youth Group.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Megan Brown College Scholarship Fund in memory of her father, Wayne Brown, at the SunTrust Bank, attention Laura Waddell, 1969 North Point Blvd., Hixson, TN 37343.

Williamson & Sons Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements in Soddy-Daisy.
