Guy Morgan died Saturday, March 17, 2001, in a local nursing home.
He was 87.
Mr. Morgan was a lifelong resident of Soddy-Daisy.
Mr. Morgan was retired from Chester Frost Park.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Viola Morgan; parents, Aaron and Laura Morgan; and several siblings.
He is survived by his children, Mary Ruth Nunley, Aiken, S.C., Guy R. Morgan, Hixson, Nancy Jones, Red Bank; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the chapel, Rev. Warren Beavers officiating.
Burial will be in Dividing Ridge Cemetery.
The family will receive friends after noon today at Williamson and Sons Funeral Home.
