William O. Miller died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 1999, in a local hospital.
He was 67. A native and lifelong resident of Chattanooga, Mr. Miller was retired from Velsicol Chemical Corp. after 46 years of service. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Miller was a Baptist and was past president of Local Union of United Steelworkers.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Ann Miller, and a brother, Donald E. Miller.
Survivors include three sons, Bobby Miller, Greenville, Tenn., Carl Miller, Chattanooga, and Michael Miller, Alabama; two daughters, Janie Outlaw, East Ridge, and Cheryl Ann Miller, Florida; brother, Tommy Miller, Chatganooga; one sister, Dorothy Derryberry, Chattganooga; four grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Dividing Ridge Church of God Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at the Dodds Avenue Chapel of Turner Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Liver Foundation.

William Robert Miller, 60, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2016. He was born in Chattanooga and was a lifelong resident of Greene Valley Developmental Center in Greeneville, Tennessee where he had a happy life and was loved by many people.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Miller and sister, Deborah Ann Miller.
He is survived by his brothers, Carl William and Michael Miller; sisters, Janie(Steve)Outlaw and Cheryl Ann Miller; nephews, Zachary and Alan Outlaw and Jamie Clayborn.
The family will receive friends from noon-2 pm on Monday, May 9, 2016 with graveside service following at 2:30 pm at Dividing Ridge Church of God Cemetery with Rev. Ambrose Havey officiating. You may visit our online guestbook at www.turnerfamilyfuneralhome.com
