Nena J. Taylor of Soddy-Daisy died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2000, at her home.
She was 89.
Mrs. Taylor was a charter member of the Dividing Ridge Church of God and a pioneer member in establishing the Church of God in this area.
She had worked as a looper at Cobble-Muse Hosiery Mill, as well as other local hosiery mills.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. "Bill" Taylor.
Survivors include two daughters, Boone Yother and Wilma Redden, both of Chattanooga; two sisters, Naomi Curtin, Chattanooga, and Eunice Rawlston, Byrdstown, Tenn.; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Yother and Dr. Mike Johns officiating.
Burial will be in Dividing Ridge Church of God Cemetery.
