Elsie Lorena Simons Hudson of Signal Mountain died Sunday, March 5, 2000, in a local hospital.
She was 82. Mrs. Hudson was a Baptist and the mother of the late Jess Owen Hudson.
Survivors include three daughters, Louise Smith and Sally Etherton, both of Chattanooga, and Nancy Skiles, Dunlap, Tenn.; three sons, Robert and Stanley Hudson, both of Signal Mountain, and Clifford Hudson, Dayton, Tenn.; 21 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. CST at Ewton Funeral Home in Dunlap, Tenn., with the Rev. Glenn Morgan officiating.
Burial will be in Sawyer Cemetery.
Visitation will be today from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
