"Sweet-T-Hearts"

Dorothy Winton, 88 of Signal Mt. went home to be with her Lord Wednesday July 3, 2013 at her residence.

She was the wife of the late Rev. Hubert Winton. She was also preceded in death by her son Robert Eugene Winton, daughters, Sandra Green and Marcia Winton and granddaughter Holly Law.

She was a member of Sawyer Missionary Baptist Church.

Dorothy was a very loving mother, grandmother and wife. She had many friends and will truly be missed.

Survivor’s; daughters, Barbara (Rev. Larry) Miller, Signal Mt., Trisha (Randy) Plank, Signal Mt., Rhonda Winton, Signal Mt.; sister, Betty (Tommy) Vandergriff, Soddy Daisy; brothers, Jimmy and Denny Moore both of Soddy-Daisy; fifteen grandchildren; fourteen Great-grandchildren; and one great- great Grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
    

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, in the chapel of Lane Funeral Home, 601 Ashland Terrace with Reverend Larry Miller and Reverend Richard Horner officiating. Interment will be in Sawyer Cemetery, Signal Mt. The family will receive friends from 4:00 - 8:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Arrangements by Lane Funeral Home 601 Ashland Terrace, 877-3524.
