Betty Marie Cline Ducker, 72, died Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2006, at a local hospital.
A lifelong resident of Signal Mountain, she was a member of Signal Mountain Church of the Nazarene and was employed at Thrasher Elementary School until earlier this year.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Anderson Ducker Jr., and her parents, Austin C. and Mary Avo Smith Cline.
She is survived by her daughters, Missy (Johnny) Wellbaum, of Macon, Ga., and Angela (Bernard) Burrage, of Chatsworth, Ga.; grandsons, Matthew and Kevin Wellbaum, of Macon, and Logan White, U.S. Air Force; sisters, Martha Shipley, of Chattanooga, Patsy (Greg) Goodman, of Sweetwater, and Linda (Johnny) Ewton, of Dunlap; brothers, Austin C. "Jody" Cline, of Chattanooga, and Stanley (Diedre) Cline, of Fort Oglethorpe; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Signal Mountain Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Don Hawkins officiating. Burial will be private.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Signal Mountain Church of the Nazarene, 2608 Anderson Pike, Signal Mountain, TN 37377.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Lane Funeral Home, Coulter Chapel, 601 Ashland Terrace.
