Linna Mae Millwood, 69, of Signal Mountain, died on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2005, at her residence.
She was a lifelong resident of Signal Mountain and attended Sawyer Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos "Gene" Millwood; father, DeWitt King; mother, Ida Nichols; sister, Dora Taylor; and two brothers, Homer and Charles King.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Garry and Janis Millwood, Signal Mountain; two granddaughters and their husbands, Wendy and Jeff Shannon, Signal Mountain, and Heather and Doug Bishop, Signal Mountain; two great-grandchildren, Bryson and Olivia Shannon, Signal Mountain; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Miller officiating.
Interment will be in Sawyer Cemetery.
The family will receive friends after 3 p.m. Monday and after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
