Johnny Walter Dill, 78, passed away January 8, 2018. He was a resident of Signal Mountain, and a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. He was an avid dirt track racer for over 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Dill; mother, Retha Dill; father, Carlos (Willetta) Dill; son, Rocky Dill; sister, Carolyn Massaro; brothers, Jerry Dill and two infant brothers.
Survivors are daughters, Denise (Gary) Parker, Jannie (David) Reeves; one sister Frankie (Jerry) Little of Hixson; grandchildren, Trae (Michelle), Zachary (Tiffany) Parker, Jeremy (Nina) Dill, Seth Dill, Matt (Ashley) Harvey, Will and Jessica Turner; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and special family, the Rapp family.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. CST on Sunday, Jan. 14 at Ewton Funeral Home chapel, with Bro. Rocky Bradford officiating. Burial in Sawyer Cemetery. Visitation is Saturday, Jan. 13 from noon-8 p.m. CST, and Sunday from noon-2 p.m. CST.
