Rubye Mae Watkins, 89, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2001, in a local nursing home.
She was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, a member of Bartlebaugh Baptist Church and Eastern Star, Harrison Lodge.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Leonard Watkins; and sister, Blondie Roberts.
Survivors include three sons, Maurice Watkins, Birchwood; Joseph Alan Watkins, Decatur; David Watkins, Rossville; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be today at 3 p.m. at Bartlebaugh Baptist Church with Rev. Don Ferguson officiating.
Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
Visitation will be today from 11-2:30 p.m. at the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home.
