Addie Knight Hawk, of Sims Rd. Rt. 1 Harrison, Tenn., died Sunday morning in a local hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, R. A. Hawk, July 24, 1976. Mrs. Hawk was a lifelong resident of Hamilton County, and was a member of the Bartlebaugh Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Cynthia Workman, Harrison; brother, Joe Knight, Chattanooga; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Crisp, and Mrs. Nettie Ingle, both of Chattanooga. There is one grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o’clock in the New Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Vern Duncan and Rev. Buddy Lewis officiating. Pallbearers will be Troy Ingle, Buddy Sims, David Carter, Richard Sims, Doyle Neely, Charlie Lingerfelt. Interment will be in the Bartlebaugh Cemetery. The body is at the Turner-Coulter Funeral Home.
