Virginia Jirlds, a native of Soddy, TN, died on Sunday morning, December 16, 2018, at Transitions Hospice Center in Raleigh, NC.
Ms. Jirlds was known and loved by many in her community and will always be remembered for her “can do” spirit and fierce loyalty to family and friends. She was 96.
She is survived by her son, Gene Jirlds, her granddaughter, Erin Kemp, and grandchildren, Ella Kemp and Evan Kemp.
Her memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on January, 26, 2019 at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home in Soddy-Daisy. Reception with family immediately following after the memorial service
