OBITUARY:
Jessie Hindman of Soddy Daisy died Sunday, June 25, 1995, in a local hospital. She was 64.
She was retired from Dixie Yarns and was a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Hindman and a daughter, Glenda Hindman.
Survivors include her sons, Thomas F. Hindman, Chattanooga, Donald R. Hindman, Dayton, Tenn., Glenn A. Hindman, Soddy Daisy and James K. Hindman, Hixson; two sisters, Willie Mae Hindman and Ruby Smith both of Soddy Daisy; two brothers, Herman Barbee, Soddy Daisy and Robert Barbee, Dayton, Tenn.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be Wednesday at 2pm at Williamson and Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Melvin Walker officiating.
Burial will be in Wilcoxen Cemetery.
Visitation will be today after 6pm at the funeral home.
