Judy Fay Peardon; 57, of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, March 7, 2010 in a local hospital. Judy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a breast cancer survivor. She was a member of Straight Way Holiness Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Carrie Yates; brothers, Thomas Fletcher, Walter Ray Yates; sisters, Mary Ruth Johnson, and Ruby Baker.

She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Gordon Peardon, son, Robert Evitt and wife Jenny; daughters, Henrietta Hill and husband Ricky; Laura Howen and husband Josh; sister, Willie Bell Baker; Nancy Cook and husband Henry; 5 grandchildren, Brittany Tallant, Haley Evitt, Allie Tallant, MacKenzie Evitt, Ryan Howen; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Aaron Simmons officiating. Interment will follow at Silverdale Cemetery.
