Evelyn Gertrude Stewart, 87, of Chattanooga, died on Wednesday, April 12, 2006.
She was a member of Brainerd Hills Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Stewart; a brother, Charles Edward Hickman; and a sister, Anna Ruth Hickman.
She is survived by her step-daughter, Loretta S. Davis, Chattanooga; sister-in-law, Dorothy C. Hickman, Harrison, TN, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist with Dr. Richard C. Mason officiating. Burial will be in Silverdale Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10-12 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
