Patricia Ann Scott Schmitt, 57, of Ten Mile, Tenn., died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2003, at her residence.

She had formerly lived in Knoxville and Maryville, Tenn., before moving to Ten Mile nine years ago and was of the Methodist faith. Patricia was an avid horse trainer and rider and was a member of the Golden Spurs, the Smokey Mountain Trail Riders, the Blue Ridge Trail Riders and the Ridge Runners Saddle Club.

She was preceded in death by a nephew, Joel Scott.

Survivors include her husband, Dr. Otis Schmitt, Ten Mile, Tenn.; two sons and daughter-in-law, Mike and Michelle Anderson of Maryville, Tenn., and Scott Anderson of Lenoir City, Tenn.; grandson, Cabot Anderson, Maryville; parents, Frank and Betty Scott of San Lorenzo, Calif.; brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Sherry Scott of Castro Valley, Calif.; nephew, Rob Scott, Hawaii.

A memorial service will be at 5 p.m. Sunday at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Parker officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4355 Highway 58, Chattanooga, TN 37416.

The family will receive friends from 2-5 p.m. Sunday before the service at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
