Mar. 16, 1932 - June 3, 2003
Ida Marie Phillips of East Ridge died Tuesday, June 3, 2003, in a local
hospital.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Louise.
Survivors include five children, Linda Moore Aslinger, Tunnell Hill, GA, Freddy Moore, East Ridge, Billie Jane Sherman, Newport, N.C., Thomas Lawrence Phillips, Anchorage, Alaska and Anthony Phillips, Collegedale; 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert Emerling, Tullahoma, Tn.; two sisters, Willie Humphreys, Red Bank, and Mable Combs, Hixson; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Elder Finley Knowles officiating.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road.
