Gertrude C. Coleman, 97, of Red Bank died Saturday, Nov. 16, 2002, in a local health care facility.
She was a member of Pinewood Baptist Church. Ms. Coleman was a longtime nurse in the Hamilton County area.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Ralph and Donnie Coleman; sisters, Betts Elliott, Mary Peters, Hanner Patterson and Maggie McDermot; brother, Tass Price; and a special granddaughter, Tiffany Shauntae Norris.
She is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Brumley, Red Bank; granddaughters, Mary Ledford, Red Bank, Leah Lewis, Red Bank, and Christine Bridges, Ringgold, Ga.; grandsons, Alan Coleman, Denver, Colo., Stan Coleman, Amarillo, Texas, Daniel Lewis, Red Bank, and Mark Norris, Dallas, Texas; brother, Dave Price, Knoxville; several great-great-grandchildren; several great-great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday, graveside, at Gray Cemetery, with Rev. Richard Goble officiating.
Visitation is after noon until 1:30 p.m.
Arrangements are by Williamson & Sons Funeral Home, 8852 Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy.
