Shirley A. Green of Soddy-Daisy died Thursday, June 4, 1998, at a local hospital.
She was 57. She was a daughter of the late Leonard and Louise Fritts, a sister of the late Sidney Fritts, and a Sunday school teacher for 15 years at Mountain View Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Melvin Green, Soddy-Daisy; son, Michael Green, Sale Creek; two sisters, Gaila Wright and Charlotte Petty, and three brothers, Bennie, Bill and Dennie Fritts, all of Soddy-Daisy; and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home in Soddy-Daisy with minister Paul Forgey officiating.
Burial will be in Coleman Cemetery.
