Lydia Rebecca Dorn Clemons, 56, of Sale Creek, died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2004, at the home of her mother.
Rebecca was born in Sale Creek on Nov. 30, 1947, and was preceded in death by her father, Cyrus "Junior" Dorn.
Rebecca was a graduate of Sale Creek High School and had attended McKenzie Business School. She retired from Ray Moss Farms and for the past 10 years was a homemaker.
Rebecca was a lifelong member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school and was a member of the Ladies Fellowship.
Rebecca is survived by her husband, Kenny L. Clemons; her mother, Robbie Aslinger Dorn; son, Chris Miller; brothers, Harold Dorn and Dennis Dorn, all of Sale Creek; sister, Ginger Sedman of Dayton, Tenn.; and her two grandchildren, Sierra and Chelsey Miller of Sale Creek.
Funeral services for Rebecca will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Emory Layne and the Rev. David Cunningham officiating.
Burial will be in Lake Drive Community Cemetery followed by a white dove release.
