Marie's Obit:
Marie G. Ables, 86, of Soddy-Daisy, died on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2006, in a local health care facility.
She was a member of Soddy-Daisy First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clifford H. Ables Sr; four brothers; and four sisters.
She is survived by sons, Clifford H. (Danelle) Ables Jr., of Soddy-Daisy, Harold (Irene) Ables, of Bellville, IL, Dale (Pat) Ables, of Soddy-Daisy, Jerry (Karen) Ables, of Etowah, TN, Danny (Georgia) Ables, of Soddy-Daisy, and Johnny (Tammy) Ables, of Soddy-Daisy; brothers, Percy Grant and Willard Grant; sister, Blanch Monroe; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, in the chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. Ted Painter and Dr. Seton Tomyn officiating. Interment will follow in Varner Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4355 Highway 58, Suite 101, 58 Commons Building, Chattanooga, TN 37416.
Arrangements are by Williamson & Sons Funeral Home in Soddy-Daisy.
