Viva Obit:
Viva McClendon Lewis, 85, of Mowbray Mountain, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2014. She was a lifelong resident of Mowbray and a Christian. Viva was a beautician for many years. She was a very talented person and enjoyed sharing her gifts with everyone. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Robert Lewis.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Moore and his family; son, Robert “Dean” Lewis (Charlene); daughter, Diana Lewis Brooks (Dale); sister, Rosa McClendon Gibson (Jack); granddaughter, Jessica Lewis and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Grant Chauncey officiating. Burial will follow at Varner Cemetery on Mowbray Mountain. Visitation is Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
