Tommy E. Puckett of Hixson died Monday, Sept. 20, 1999, in a local hospital.
He was 57. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and the widower of Gayle Puckett.
Survivors include two daughters, Martha Greggs and Kristina Hampton, both of Hixson; three sons, Don Puckett, Soddy-Daisy, Michael Puckett, Clifton, Tenn., and James Puckett, Knoxville; and eight grandchildren. A graveside service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Union Fork Cemetery with bishop Dan Wolfe officiating.
Visitation will be Thursday after 9 a.m. at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home.
