Karajo Hickman, 32, of Soddy-Daisy, TN, passed from this life, February 15, 2007. She was retired from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Janice Hickman Higgins, whom she so greatly missed, her father Billy G. Hickman, grandparents, Gladys & Lloyd Hodges, Beulah & Sam Hickman, uncle, Jim Gibson, aunts, Judy Wallace, Pat Cross & Joyce Parrott.
She is survived by her sister & brother-in-law, Angela Renee’ & Kenneth E. Qualls, Jr.; brother & sister-in-law, Billy Scott & Kerrie Hickman; nephews, Cody Hickman, Alex Ford, Eli Ford; one special aunt and her namesake, Rita Joe Bailey & her husband, Ronnie Bailey; aunts, Betty May, Bobbie Sue Hodges; uncles, Rickey Hodges, R.C. “Corky” Parrott, Jack Hickman and many cousins & friends.
We wish to express our deepest gratitude to all that touched and came into Karajo’s life during these final months.
The funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 18, 2007, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Jack Brown officiating. Interment will follow in East Soddy Community Cemetery. Visitation is 4:00 TO 8:00 Saturday, February 17, 2007.

Janice Hickman Higgins, of Soddy-Daisy, died on Thursday, Aug. 4, 2005.
She was of the Baptist faith and the beloved mother of three children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy G. Hickman; mother and father, Gladys and Lloyd Hodges; brother, Jim Gibson; and sisters, Judy Creasman Wallace and Pat Young Cross.
She is survived by her son, Billy S. (Karrie) Hickman; daughters, Renee Ford, Kara Jo Hickman, all of Soddy-Daisy; sister, Jo Bailey; brothers, Corky "R.C" Parrott and Ricky Hodges; grandsons, Alex and Eli Ford, Cody Hickman; an adopted grandson, Wade Stephens; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Randy Franks officiating. Interment will be in East Soddy Community Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Williamson & Sons Funeral Home in Soddy-Daisy.
