Obit:
William Leon Walker, Jr., 59, of Hixson passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at his home. He was a member of the Primitive Church of God, and he retired from Hammonds Truck Line. He was a US Army and US Marine veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William L. Walker, Sr., and Bessie Walker.
He is survived by his sons, Jacob Leon Walker and Jonathan Walker; daughters, Cassie Wolfe, and Paula Walker; brother, Michael John Walker; sisters, Jeweletta Guffey, Judy Cooper, and Evelyn Sweet; 11 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Russell Ervin officiating. Interment will follow in East Soddy Community Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 4-9 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
