Obit:
Jimmie Ruth Hensley Daughtrey, 76, died peacefully and surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Brakebill Nursing Home in Knoxville, TN, where she had been lovingly cared for the last four years.  

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Redden Hensley; sister, Peggy Hensley; brothers, Lloyd Hensley and Edward Hensley.  

Jimmie Ruth was born on May 17, 1936, and grew up on Mowbry Mountain.  She moved to Dayton in 1957 where she was a devoted mother to her five children.  

She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Bill & Bobbie Hensley of Soddy-Daisy, TN ; brother Everett Hensley,  of Soddy-Daisy, TN; daughter, Becky Daughtrey Gill of Atlanta, GA; son, Tony Daughtrey of Knoxville, TN; son, Ron Daughtrey and daughter-in-law Becky Daughtrey of Knoxville, TN; daughter Janet Daughtrey and son-in-law Kenny Aguilar of Nashville, TN; daughter, Wendy Daughtrey Gardner and son-in-law David Gardner of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, Lindsey Daughtrey, Rachel Daughtrey Mallicoat, Derek Daughtrey , Kara Aguilar, Kyler Aguilar, Ryan Gardner and Dana Gardner; great grandchildren, Mason Daughtrey, River Daughtrey, and Annabella Mallicoat; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  

The family will receive family and friends at Williamson & Sons in Soddy-Daisy, TN from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM on Thursday, March 7, 2013. The service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 1 PM, Friday, March 8, 2013.  Burial will follow at Hot Water Cemetery. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.williamsonandsons.com.
