Tommy Obit:
Tommy “Smilie” Hale, 81, of Bakewell, TN, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2011.  He was a member of the Straightway Holiness Church.  Tommy retired from Tennessee Trailers.  

He is preceded in death by his parents, Will & Josie Hale and nine siblings.

Survivors include his loving wife of 59 years, Margaret Hale; sons, Carl Hale, Roger Hale, Michael Hale, Roy Hale; daughters, Joyce Sisco, Louise Vaughn; seventeen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.  

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 19, 2011 at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Brother Aaron Simmons, Brother Troy Simmons & Brother Daniel Owens officiating.  Burial will follow in Smith.  Visitation is Sunday 2:00 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M.  

Pallbearers will be Michael Hale, Sammy Hale, Tommy Vaughn, Mikey Hale, Jerry Hawkins, Roger Taylor and Chastity Hale.

Margaret Obit:
Margaret Ann Hale, 84, of Bakewell, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021.  She was of the Church of God faith and attended Straightway Holiness Church.  Margaret worked at Rolette Chicken Hatchery and Kingston Corporation and volunteered at Daisy Head Start for over 25 years.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Hale and parents, Linda and Roy Brown. Survivors are her children, Carl Winford Hale, Joyce Sisco, Roy Hale (Wanda), Roger Hale, Louise Vaughn (Clifford) and James Hale (Jennifer); sister, Sandra Nichols; brother, Bob Brown; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. Services will be on Thursday, January 28, 2021 in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Troy Simmons officiating.  Burial will follow at Smith Cemetery with Rev. Douglas Graham officiating.  Grandchildren will be pallbearers. Visitation is Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
