OSBORNE, SALLIE SMITH of Halls, loving wife, mother, grandmother and a member of Old Pleasant Gap Baptist Church. She was born on April 12,
1919 and passed away March 5, 2007 at her home.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, William J. Osborne II; daughters, Lois Moyers and Jean Vanlieu; grandsons, Donnie R. Vanlieu and Richard Sexton.
She is survived by: sons and daughters-in-law, Junior and Denese Osborne, Ricky and Shelia Osborne, David and Anita Osborne; daughters, Ann Mynatt and Wanda Jones. She leaves behind 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Georgia Smith and Mildred Smith of Soddy Daisy, TN; Marie Lehman of Hillsboro, IL, Opal Osborne of Memphis, TN; son-in-law, Donnie Vanlieu; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Wednes-day, 5-8 pm at Old Pleasant Gap Baptist Church with funeral to follow, Reverend Lee Strunk officiating. The family will also receive friends from 5-8 pm Thursday at Wiliamson Funeral Home with funeral service at 8 pm. Burial will be 1 pm Friday at Smith's Cemetery in Soddy Daisy, TN. Ailor Mortuary, Maynardville is in charge of arrangements. Our Obituary Line is: 865-992-1114.
