Mary Obit:
Mary Ruth Kayler, 65, of Soddy-Daisy, died on Friday, Jan. 6, 2006.
She had been employed at the Golden Gallon in the Dallas Bay area for approximately 20 years where she had became the store manager. She had previously been employed with Hamilton County Food Services at Soddy-Daisy High School and Daisy Elementary. For many years she had also been very active in the Soddy-Daisy Kids Club.
She is survived by her husband, Herman Kayler; son, Brian Kayler; daughters, Tina (Bill) Roberts, Janice Kayler; sister, Wilma Coker; seven grandchildren, Shanna and Shane Roberts, Christian, Chasity and Hunter Kayler, Brianna and Logan Kayler, all of Soddy-Daisy.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Marcus Clagg officiating. Interment will follow in Smith Cemetery.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday.
Arrangements are by Williamson & Sons Funeral Home, 8852 Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379.
Herman obit:
Herman L. Kayler, 75, of Soddy-Daisy passed away Friday, May 27, 2011 at his home. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and was retired from Combustion Engineering. He was very active with the Soddy-Daisy Kids Club and was an avid outdoorsman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Kayler, daughters, Janice Kayler, Michelle Kayler.
He is survived by his son, Brian Kayler, sisters, Charlotte Kaylor, Jane Kaylor, 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday at Smith Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 2-9 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
