James Larry Mincey, 56, of Hixson, died Monday, Nov. 24, 2003, in a local hospital.
He was the son of the late Dave and Helen Mincey.
He is survived by two sons, Lamar Mincey and Jason Mincey; one daughter, Denise Irvin; six brothers, Dillard Mincey, Leonard Mincey, Maynard Mincey, Freddie Ray Mincey, J.C. Mincey and Rickey Mincey; three sisters, Brenda Faye Lockhart, Linda Sue Ricketts, and Charlotte Reed; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the graveside in New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Danny Keener and the Rev. Bob Randolph officiating.
