Mr. Thomas Eugene Davis, Jr. age 68 of Chattanooga and formerly of Soddy Daisy departed this life Thursday September
19, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Davis was born December 17, 1950 in Soddy to his parents Thomas and Barbara Jean Jett Davis, Sr. Tommy loved his family and would put others needs before his own. Tommy is preceded in death by his parents; Tommy and Barbara Davis, Sr., sister; Donna Michelle Richardson, fur baby "Rascal" Davis.
Survivors include siblings; Suzie Davis of Soddy Daisy, Darlene Ledford of Chattanooga, Annette Richie of Ider, Alabama, Darrell Davis (Teresa) of Soddy Daisy and Allen Davis (Lisa) of Rocky Top as well as a special fur baby "Midnight" Davis.
Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Tommy Davis, Jr. will be Saturday September 21, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. in the Ponders Brainerd Chapel with Clyde Fitzgerald officiating. Internment will follow in the New Salem Baptist Church in Soddy Daisy.
Visitation will be Friday from 4pm until 8pm at the funeral home and on Saturday from 9am until the funeral hour. The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the Chattanooga hospice Mtn. View team for their tireless compassion.
