Dorothy's obit:

Dorothy Millsaps Selcer, age 80, beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2010.  She was born November 25, 1929 in Daisy, TN to the late Winfield R. and Iva G. Millsaps.  Mrs. Selcer was a lifelong member of the Daisy and Falling Water Communities.  She was a member of Falling Water Baptist Church and served in a number of civic organizations throughout her life.  

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Edwin Byron “Bud” Selcer.

Survivors include her children: E. Lamar (Sharon) Selcer, Regina Miller and B. Rodney (Karen) Selcer, all of Hixson; brother Teddy W. Millsaps, Leesburg, AL; five grandchildren; Dusty Miller, Lauren and Evan Selcer, Hannah and Rachel Selcer and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 12:00 noon Saturday in the Lane Funeral Home Chapel on Ashland Terrace with Reverend Tommy Taylor officiating.  The family will receive friends from 3–5 pm and 6–8 pm Friday and 11:00 am to 12 noon Saturday at Lane Funeral Home, 601 Ashland Terrace. Burial follow in Millsaps Cemetery.
